Just So

Poetry

fully bloomed with showering summer

flowers,

petaled in sweet pungency

loveliness protected with sharp

thorns,

pricking in painful stabs

forgotten autumn foliage drenched with colored

leaves,

reach in desperate beauty

Whether you are the flower, the thorn, or the leaf,

you make the rose

just so.
