Over at Tweetspeak there’s a lot of candied April talk going down.

I’m not a candy fan, except for dark baker’s chocolate

or raw cacao powder with honey. It  puts hair

on your chest and feathers

on your legs.

Really?

Yep.

  1. Tall drink o’ water cowboy eating fancy pants sugar sprinkled pink cupcakes. Now there’s a picture I’m gonna have a hard time getting out of my head today!

  2. Love it, especially the “mouth-first.” 🙂

I used to regularly make “chocolate honey” (melted unsweeteened baker’s chocolate and honey). I never thought to try it with powder instead.

  3. * Nancy, yes indeed. How many cupcakes can a cowboy cram into his mouth at once? Inquiring minds wanna know.

    * Davis, me too. I agree. (except for when they’re 3 sheets to the wind and need a knock in the head)

    * LL, couldn’t we all… use feathers, I mean.

    * Monica, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach, but it ain’t getting there until it passes through the gate-keeper lips. (It’s getting weird all these things we have in common.)

    * Susie, so the hair on your chest bit was okay? Hmmm. Interesting. Very interesting.

Thank you for stopping by, reading, and commenting. Next time, bring some almond milk and napkins for the snacks, would ya?

  4. * Jeanne, me too. ‘Cause it’s about my man. 😉

    * Megan, me too. (Hey look, ma, I said the same thing twice. And meant it.)

Thanks ladies. Have a rootin–tootin’ good day.

  5. Jody Lee Collins says:

Darlene–I came over from Tweetspeak. My–you know how to paint an image. Suweeeet.
And I love your drawl–it shows through.
    You’re a Texan, yes?

  6. * Maureen, why thank you ma’am. My actual-factual ropin’ skills leave much (MUCH) to be desired.

    * Jody, welcome! And nope to the Texan. I’m Montana-born, Idaho-raised, & living in the state of discombobulation.

  7. Tee-hee! Loving this one, girlfriend. You sure know how to paint a picture :). Catching up on my reading after being gone all weekend. Hope this comment takes…
