Dependence Day (no typo)

Love God, Love God Love People, One Nation Under God, Photo Story, question, white & blue thru & thru

Happy 4th of July, USA!

1. God created life

(vegetation, plants, trees, living creatures, man, and woman — see Genesis 1)

2. God created marriage back in the Garden of Eden between one man & one woman

(again, see Genesis; read Gen: 1:26)

3. God created one man and one woman to

“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it.”

(specifically, see Genesis 1:28)

4. As it happens, we cannot have marriage without life.

5. And, we cannot have life without a proper union between a man and a woman.

6. Whaddaya know? Seems like God got it right from the get go!

Yay for our Heavenly Father!

7. On America’s Independence Day,

we celebrate our nation’s independence (from a tyrannical rule)

and her dependence (on a sovereign God).

8.Whatcha gonna do come November? Check mark us back into tyranny?

Or check mark us into the heart of God?

* word lesson ~ TYRANNY:
 1. noun
 2. cruel & oppressive government or
3. a nation under such cruel & oppressive goverment
4. synonyms: despotism – oppression
If you haven’t noticed, I’m a Red-White-n-Blue sorta gal:
red– blood shed, by Christ for our sins-n-salvation
red– blood shed for our country’s freedom
white– righteousness by God, for God & through God
white– flag of surrender waved only to God
blue– if you don’t know The Man Who died for you
blue– if you do, yet don’t stand up for what’s righteous in His eyes

Bravo! Bravo! Darlene. Yes to all of it. Thank you for saying it all so perfectly. Happy 4th my friend!

Blessings as you celebrate this day. Love those red suspenders … my dad had a pair he would wear for “special” occasions.

    • Miss Susie, gotta love suspenders. They are an often overlooked bit of useful fashion. The kiddo used to have a pair that said “daddy’s little helper” on ’em.

  3. Hey, there, lady. Happy Dependence Day to you (never too late, right?) Thank you for your prayers and all. I’m feeling out of the loop again. Love to you, my friend.

If you have somethin' to say, I reckon this is where you should do it. (If you're a newbie hereabouts, your first comment will be held for approval - cuts down on spam.) Thank ye for chatting!
