Swift -n- Slow

Listening When He Speaks, photography, question

Today, I’m gonna try real hard to be swift -n- slow…

.

So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (James 1:19-20 NKJV)

.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes,
But he who heeds counsel is wise. (Proverbs 12:15 NKJV)

If you swallow your pride long enough to see

past your own private pain,

you’ll find the two of you

are more alike

than you think.

He who answers a matter before he hears it,
It is folly and shame to him. (Proverbs 18:13 NKJV)

In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise. (Proverbs 10:19 NKJV)

  1. You’ve picked some good ones for Valentine’s Day, haven’t you :)? I’ve been working real hard on that listening part this past year. Amazing how practice helps with that. That picture is so sweet. You have a knack for finding just the right image for your words. That really is a gifted way of seeing. Lovely, lovely stuff, my friend.

    • Miss Laura –
Usually as I’m working on an image, a scripture comes to mind… Isn’t it God-grande how His beauty provokes His Truth?!

      Blessings.
