7 Heart Images

A Story, Listening When He Speaks, Scripture Talk

Oh happy happy,

joy joy.

I am the center

of my own universe.

red hearts

Wait a wild wooly minute –

something is

missing.

I have a gap, a hole, a void –

a place that cannot be satisfied

with worldly things

no matter how much

I try.

red hearts2Oh I’m so thankful, thankful

ever so grateful, grateful that

someone introduced me

to the King of kings,

the Lord of lords

so I could meet

my Savior.

red hearts3

Jesus is the center of my

universe;

my heart is full up,

tip-top to the brim

and His work in me

is visible

for the world

to see.

red hearts4

Oh yikers, yikers

what about me, me, me?

Wait another wild wooly minute –

I’m learning that

His ways are better

in thought

word

and deed.

red hearts5And in order to shoot straight

like the godly arrow He’s created

me

to be,

I need to read

His Word

to seek His ways.

And I have to make action

of my belief –

every

every

single day.

red hearts6

Oh, happy happy

joy joy!

Jesus is the center of my universe

and through Him,

I live

and I pierce

 the dark

with Jesus

in my heart.

proverbs42023

.

.

Give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.

Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;

For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.

Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.

Proverbs 4:20-23 (NKJV)

  1. “And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.”
    – Deuteronomy 6:5
    This is terrific Darlene!

  2. Psalm 119, all of it, which is where I’ve been camping since January. But most particularly these this week:
    “My eyes long for your salvation and for the fulfillment of your righteous promise. Deal with your servant according to your steadfast love, and teach me your statutes.” vv 123,124.

If you have somethin' to say, I reckon this is where you should do it. (If you're a newbie hereabouts, your first comment will be held for approval - cuts down on spam.) Thank ye for chatting!
