When Christ Outgrew

Listening When He Speaks

We were blessed beyond measure each and every time Jesus Christ outgrew the fabric that had been wrapped about Him.

.

“Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.  And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.”

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit.

But Peter arose and ran to the tomb; and stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying by themselves; and he departed, marveling to himself at what had happened.

And that analogy? Well, it came to me in 3 bits as I was putting text to that image. Then when the scriptures ran together like that… wow. God is grande!

      Blessings.
