Psalm 103:2-5 (NKJV)

Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

    • Thanks, Micah.

It’s weird how when I changed the color tone of the image, more depth is visible.

As always, it’s good to see you here.

      Blessings.

  1. It’s an incredible look. What kind of lens did you use (I’m just getting into photography, very fun hobby I’m discovering)?

    • Hey Micah – I should forewarn you, the “Simply” part in my name is really, really true! I am a self-professed techno-nitwit and I shoot all my images in auto-focus, without the flash. Then, I edit them in my Mac software iPhoto. It looks like I chose the “sepia” color option, plus “boost,” and maybe “sharpen.” I only have two lenses, my Canon Rebel camera-issued one and a 70-300 (some sort of zoom lens) with an image stabilizer.

I have no idea what I’m doing! If something comes out good, there was likely 25 that didn’t. And I agree, it’s totally fun!

      Blessings.

  2. I’m wanting to get a zoom lens myself. I have just two also, the one that came with the camera and a prime lens (50mm) which I love. I’ve only been at this a few months so far but man is it addictive. I feel like a tourist in my own town, carrying my camera sort of makes me look at things differently, as though they’re new again, which is cool.

If you have somethin' to say, I reckon this is where you should do it. (If you're a newbie hereabouts, your first comment will be held for approval - cuts down on spam.) Thank ye for chatting!
